Frequently Asked Questions

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in starts at 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:00 am. On check-out day, families can remain on property for lunch service and until 2:00 pm.

How many families can you accommodate on-site at one time?

We have 20 cabins available for rental, accommodating approximately 70 people on-site at one time. During our summer camp programming, we can accommodate 240 campers plus 100 staff on-site at one time, so you can be assured that we have enough space to safely house everyone.

What happens if someone in our family develops symptoms of COVID-19 during our stay?

In addition to guest screening prior to arrival, we ask that all families assist us in keeping our facility safe by completing daily self-monitoring checklists for symptoms of COVID-19. If you or someone else within your cabin has developed symptoms of COVID-19 while on property, we ask that you notify the office and we will assess the situation based on local public health guidelines at that time. If you or your family are required to leave the facility due to COVID-19 health concerns, we will ensure that a prorated refund will be applied to the portion of your stay that isn’t completed.

We have friends attending at the same time. Will we be able to participate in activities with them or hang out with them?

Family Retreats are a great way to enjoy the same vacation this summer with other family friends, in a safe environment. The ability to share in retreat experiences with other family cabins/cohorts will all be based on the Ontario Government’s Roadmap to Reopen Three-Step Plan at time of stay. We will be adjusting on-site public health measures to comply with the current Reopening Step in the plan as the summer progresses. Guests will be made aware of all measures enforced on-site based on the Reopening Step enforced at time of check-in. Measures may include indoor capacities, physical distancing guidelines, outdoor gathering size and masking procedures.

Can our kids participate in activities without parental supervision?

Adults are responsible for their own children (17 and under) at all times while on property. Adults are required to sign out (at Activity Kiosk) any waterfront equipment required for 'use at your own risk' water activities.

Can we bring our dog?

Unfortunately, no. Although we have our camp dog 'Cruz' occasionally on property, we hope families understand our on-site 'no dog' guest policy so that we can ensure that all of our guests enjoy a 'bark-free' experience and pet "dander free" cabins. Support dog requirements - see HOC AODA policies

Will we have access to the internet?

There is limited wifi in certain areas of camp (mostly up around the parking lot area), available to our guests via the Guest Network. The password will be provided at check-in.
