Program Features

South River Day Camp is a recreation program administered by the Village of South River. This program is hosted on the grounds of Hockey Opportunity Camp from Monday to Friday and is open to children ages 5-12 years old. The program operates for 8 weeks during July and August.

FREE transportation is provided along a designated route to and from camp, with various pickup/drop-off locations located in South River and Sundridge. The bus arrives at camp at 8:45 am and departs at 3:45 pm. Campers must bring their own bag lunch each day.

Campers are provided with the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting age-appropriate camp activities, led by our qualified Day Camp instructors. Swimming is offered daily as part of the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program. Children can achieve their badge levels in a safe and fun environment from qualified instructors.

Please note that HOC is not responsible for the registration of campers. For registration information, contact the South River Village Office at 705-386-2573
