Hockey Director Keith Murray - whose resume includes 50+ years in hockey, as player, coach, development coordinator, mentor coach, general manager, administrator, and more - has developed a comprehensive hockey program, designed to meet the needs of each of our hockey campers.
Keith Murray will be returning as our Hockey Director for the summer of 2019. This will be Keith’s 20th summer at HOC and 8th consecutive summer since rejoining us in 2012.
Keith and Camp Director Kevin are close personal friends, having first met back in 1989 when Keith originally came on as Hockey Director and when Kevin was a camp counsellor.
He is a big believer in the value of summer camp, having been a camper at Haliburton Hockey Haven and a counsellor/instructor at Camp Nominingue, Quebec in his youth.
Keith’s son Sean was a long time HOC camper and then a member of our waterski staff. His daughter Rachel is still a camper, who can’t wait to get back to HOC every summer.
Keith loves spending his summers on Eagle Lake and on the ice at the arena in South River, with our campers and hockey instructional staff. He looks forward to putting together another outstanding hockey staff this year as he continues with his promise to deliver our “best in class” hockey program.
Keith is an elementary school principal in Oakville, Ontario.
