Campers registered in Day Programs do NOT count towards the total minimum number required to secure the group rates.
How do I register my campers as part of a group?
Your Group Coordinator will provide you with a Group code and details and steps to register your camper.
Is there a deadline to register with our group code?
While the initial 20-day window sets the timeframe for establishing the minimum of 4 campers and calculating the Group Coordinator's savings discount, group members can still register after the 20-day period using the Group Code, as long as space remains in the requested camp week.
Can my camper get the group rate if we registered before the group was approved?
No, Campers registered at Regular Camp Rates before group approval do not qualify for the discount or count toward the 4-camper minimum.
What happens if I need to cancel my registration?
Refunds are subject to our Cancellation Policy. If a cancellation causes the group size to drop below the required 4-camper minimum, the group rate will be revoked, and all remaining campers in the group will receive the Regular Camp Rate.
Do the campers in a group have to attend the same week or be the same age?
Campers do not all have to be the same age to be registered as a group; however, campers requesting to be bunked together should be of the same gender and ideally the same grade/birth year (we can sometimes accommodate within one grade/birth year apart from one another).
Campers in a group can attend different weeks.
How are groups organized in terms of cabins & sections?
Every effort is made to accommodate all bunking requests of similarly aged campers. Cabin assignments must be based on gender/age. Campers requesting to be bunked together should be of the same gender and ideally the same grade/birth year (we can sometimes accommodate within one grade/birth year apart from one another).
If your group is larger than 12 campers, campers will be placed in different sections while maintaining the cabin groups of 4. A section is a group of campers/cabins who participate in the same daily cohort of hockey, activities, and meals. For example, 7 campers may be placed in the Hawks Section and 7 campers may be placed in the Red Wings Section.
Parents of campers in the group must communicate any special cabin requests to the Group Coordinator.
The HOC Administrator will ONLY communicate with Group Coordinators to finalize any cabin assignments.
