Parent Communication

  • Distribute Information: Forward the Group Registration Guide to each parent listed on your Group Form (found in your Group Request Form Approval email).
  • Remind Parents to Register Early: Registration is first-come, first-served; being a part of a Group Code does not hold spots.
  • Answer Parent Questions: Assist parents with general questions about group rates, camp programs, and cabin requests.
  • Cabin Requests: Collect cabin requests from parents. Inform them that groups larger than 4 will be split across separate cabins.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as an intermediary between parents and HOC if registration or cabin assignment concerns arise.

Group Discount Rules & Policies

  • Minimum Requirement: A minimum of 4 campers must register using the Group Code before the expiry date. If this minimum is not met, all registrations revert to Regular Camp Rates, and discounts are forfeited.
  • Expiry Dates: Campers who register with your Group Code within the 20-day expiry count toward your Group Coordinator discount.
    • After the Expiry Date: The Group Code remains active, so late registrants still receive the group rate, but they will not count toward your Group Coordinator Discount.
  • Group Coordinator Discount Guide
    4 - 7 campers = $80 (Incl. 13% HST)
    8 - 11 campers = $160 (Incl. 13% HST)
    12+ campers = $240 (Incl. 13% HST)
  • Prior Registrations: Campers registered at Regular Camp Rates before group approval do not qualify for the discount or count toward the 4-camper minimum. (They can still be added to your cabin request form by emailing heidi@learnhockey.com).
