Family Retreats - Programs & Activities

All scheduled activities & programming is optional, giving families the ability to choose how they spend their days.


All programs & activities (except Water Ski Activity*) are included in your ‘Food and Activity’ Plan costs. See ‘Weekday Stay’ Promotion* below for a special Water Ski Activity pass offer.

Adults are responsible for their own children (17 and under) at all times while on property. Adults are required to sign out (at Activity Kiosk) any waterfront equipment required for 'use at your own risk' water activities.

Supervised & Instructed Activities

All guests will have the opportunity to sign-up for instructed/supervised activity blocks for our most popular activities. Sign-up for these activities will happen during check-in. These activities include playtime on our Aquaglide & Lilypad, waterskiing, archery, wall climbing and mountain biking. 

Aquaglide & Lilypad

Come experience some fun on the water, with our NEW Aquaglide challenge course and Lilypad. The Aquaglide is a 40ft long inflatable water obstacle style course, where guests can test their balance, climbing skills, agility and speed on the water. The Lilypad is a floating foam pad that guests can lounge and groove on, while trying to stay balanced. Both activities are supervised by qualified lifeguards in our waterfront play zone.

Waterskiing

Whether you're learning to waterski for the first time, or are a seasoned pro, we've got a clinic option for you. Our water ski instructors are qualified instructors through the Canadian Water Ski Instructors Course and are excited to share their passion for watersports with our guests.

*Week-day Stay Promotion - Any cabin booking (with 3+ ppl) that is checking in on Sunday through to Thursday will receive two (2) complimentary 10-minute water ski passes for every 3 ppl booked. Passes must be used during Monday-Friday activity time slots.

For guests staying with us over the weekend, or guests wishing to purchase additional ski time, the following pricing strategy applies;

  • 10-minute clinic - $25 / person
    • Includes basic instruction and one loop around the bay
    • Scheduled during one of the three daily activity periods
    • Can try; waterskiing, slalom skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding
  • 1-hour clinic - $200 / boat
    • Includes personalized instruction for 1-6 guests
    • Flexible in times based on the guest's own preference
    • Private ski boat rental with your own ski instructor/driver
    • Can try; waterskiing, slalom skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, wake surfing, wakeskate

Archery

Come join us at the Archery Pit and sharpen up your target skills. Recurve and compound bows available, pending skill level.

Wall Climbing

Our climbing wall features 40 feet of challenging fun. Climb using our TruBlue auto-belays for a real-life climbing experience. All safety and climbing equipment is provided.

Mountain Biking

Whether you're new to mountain biking or have done it before, our extensive trail system is  designed for all skill levels. With over 6 km of terrain to explore, our instructor will lead you through the basics of mountain biking and will test your skills on trails that suit your ability. Mountain bikes and helmets provided or you can bring your own.

"Use-At-Your-Own-Risk" Activities

Guests will also have the opportunity to sign out various program equipment to use on their own time, provided physical distancing measures between families are respected. No instruction is provided, and a use-at-your-own-risk statement applies. Adults are required to sign out any waterfront equipment required for 'use at your own risk' water activities and must ensure that the safety rules are adhered to while using the equipment.

All equipment is cleaned and disinfected between users. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, disc golf, hiking, basketball, ball hockey, ping pong, gaga ball, beach volleyball, and much more.

Additional Daily Activities

Each day, we will offer our guests the opportunity to participate in optional resort-style activities. These activities will rotate daily and may include: yoga, nature hikes, arts and crafts, morning swims, and much more.

Evening Entertainment

Evening Programs

Each evening, starting at 7:30 pm, we will offer optional evening activities for guests to participate in. All activities will keep guest safety in mind and will accommodate multiple families to participate while staying physically distanced.

Activities will rotate on a nightly basis, and may include: family bingo, trivia / Kahoot night, live broadcasted sports games, movies, etc. Keep an eye on our daily message board to learn more about which evening activities are being offered during your stay.

Campfires

Staff will set-up and light a campfire every evening at 7:30 - 7:45 pm in our main campfire pit. Some camp songs and fun programming will be provided for the first 20-30 minutes, and guests will be able to stay and enjoy the fire well after that.

Minimum Age for Activity Participation

While most activities do not have a minimum age, the following activities have a minimum age recommendation:

  • Waterskiing - 5 yrs old
  • Archery - 7 yrs old
  • Mountain Biking - 5 yrs old
  • Wall Climbing - 5 yrs old

Equipment Packing List

All necessary program equipment & safety devices will be supplied for all activities, however, guests may choose to bring their own:

    • Life jacket
    • Mountain Bike & Helmet
    • Water toys (pool noodles, floaties, etc)
    • Sand toys
