The intent of this position is to support the Camp Photographer with their daily schedule but also to enhance our social media presence and advertise and market HOC through quality media sources. This role would require someone to work independently but alongside the Camp Photographer and Camp Director, with minimal supervision. The daily routine would be to work through a set schedule including updating social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube) and creating promotional material for summer and off-season marketing purposes.
This role would require being able to film, edit and create professional-quality photos/videos for marketing purposes. Candidates must understand our social media expectations and ensure that the image of HOC is properly being reflected in daily/weekly online posts. Interested candidates must have experience using Macintosh computers, Google Applications, iMovie, Photoshop and CMS Website applications.
This person would not work directly with children but would need to possess an interest in working with children.
In addition to responsibilities during the day, this role would require evening responsibilities as well. The Media & Marketing Assistant would be required to work evening activities, all camp activities, and various other events capturing photo/video content.

Wages: Summer wages vary depending on age, qualifications, and experience of applicants. Room and board are included.
