Red Cross Swim Kids is a 10-level stand-alone program for five to twelve-year-old children. Children learn to swim, be fit, and stay safe in a fun environment that promotes achieving a personal best and celebrates personal success.

Hockey Opportunity Camp works in partnership with South River Machar Day Camp to provide the Red Cross Swim Kids program. Teaching the Red Cross swimming program are experienced and qualified Red Cross swimming instructors and lifeguards.

HOC swim instructors teach swimming lessons daily, and provide written progress reports each week. Campers learn the basics of floating and water survival to more advanced stroke correction and performance.
