Hockey Opportunity Camp

Getting Wet . . . is the only option!

One of the most popular instructional activities at camp is Water Skiing. Our program is one of the largest ski programs in the province. It is designed to develop the skills of both the beginner and advanced level water skier. Campers work towards the Rip 'n Ride's (developed by Waterski and Wakeboard Canada) award system. Based on the camper's level of ability and interest, one of seven nationally (Canadian Water Ski Instructors Course) accredited ski staff provide instruction on traditional two skiing, slalom skiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, barefooting and tricks.

Connelly ski equipment and tournament style ski boats equipped with a ski boom provide campers with the right gear for skill development. The ski boom is a solid bar structure that extends over the side of the boat. It is an excellent teaching apparatus that allows skiers to exit the water quickly and with more stability. The boom, together with one-on-one instruction provided by the boat driver and instructor, aid in the camper's skill development.
